When I was making holiday themes for ezboard, I generally didn't get too specific with the headers other than to say "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings". That was to carry the themes through to the New Year's holidays. Unlike stand-alone holidays like Valentine's Day or Halloween, the two holidays come one on top of the other, so there is little "lead time" between the two. Then there are also Kwanzaa and Hannukah thrown in the mix. So, generic holiday banners are "one size fits all" for all these holidays that come at the same time of the year. I think many of the other designers felt the same way.

If you or a member can use a graphics program, you might be able to add the year on an existing, generic New Year's banner to reflect the upcoming year. You might be able to find a clipart New Year's banner by doing a google image search.

As for theme boards slowing down or closing, I've slowly been opening shop over here on Yuku while I've left my ezboard themes open, but only for as long as either ezboard stays open or my webhosting remains the same. I think many of the theme designers are waiting to see what happens with Yuku, many are busy. I know one is in college, and since I am back in college myself, I know from experience that course demands takes alot of time away from being on the Internet. Others may have simply drifted away from making themes.

I know what you mean. Naked babies, old men, noisemakers, clocks, glasses of wine, confetti, and that about covers it.

Valentine's Day is another hard holiday for me to make something new for. How many ways do you make a heart theme without it being too cutesy? I mean, look at all the cupids out there. They are too cutesy for the most part for the themes/skins that I do. As for hearts, how many ways to make them look different and "fresh"?
