At the moment they are saying it is caused by 'power surges'.... but that seems very unlikely as the explosions have been at numerous locations across London and the National Grid are saying they have not experienced any power surges in their network!
A train expert is on SKY NEWS now saying the underground network has built in safety devices to deal with power surges, so finds this explanation very suspect?
Apparently so far in the last hour there have been explosions at Liverpool Street, Aldgate, Kings Cross, Old Street, Russel Square and Edgeware Road (were two trains are stuck in tunnel), and one explosion blew the top off a packed double decker bus!
My mum (who works at Liverpool Street just spoke to her next dooor neighbour who works on the computer sytems that control London Underground and he says that while the official annouincement of power surges is what they are sticking to.... there is something very suspect going on!
