2 days into the design process - can I get some opinions and ideas?

Problem with panel separators

I've been working on my own skin for a while, and between each panel of the sidebar there is a white line which i can't seem to get rid of, does anyone no how to get rid of it?

what should I do for the headers? currently they are just plain color, but I think that looks a little... plain. can anyone think of anything that might look good there? (a design, or something?)

comments and critiques on the rest of the design are very much welcomed as well. (does the boxbody opacity slow anyone down very much? I was considering seeing if setting the background to 'scroll' would work better, but I am definitely not...

I posted this over at skins & css, but no replies yet. I'm hoping I'll get some help here as well:

Here's the problem. Did the breadcrumbs. When I do it correctly, I can't see the following because it shows up in the same color as the background. Every time I try to change it, the only way I can get text to display is to change the text against the darker background into another dark text color that will also be the dark text color for the breadcrumbs:

OK: Here's a new community skin design that I did up today when I had a bit of spare time. I do find it takes a bit longer to do things here than on the old system. I think that if the saves didn't keep making us go back to the admin tab repeatedly, it would be a real joy. That's my only major gripe about it, though.
